Duduk is an authentic Armenian national instrument. It has warm, soft, slightly muted sound and velvetytimbre. The duduk is also known as «tsiranapogh» (arm. ծիրանափող), that can be literally translated as «the spirit of the apricot tree».
In 2005 UNESCO proclaimedthe music of the Armenian duduka Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

The instrument is made by the greatest masters of their craft Karen Mukaelyan and Manvel Mnatsakanyan. The making technology is refined over centuries and is passedpersonallyfrom teacher to student.
Dedicated 40 years of his life to the art of the duduk. In 1985 worked as the apprenticeof the master GeorgiMinasov, who taught him how to make the duduk. Manvel has made the best duduks and reeds for legendary Amenian musicians: GeorgiMinasov, DjivanGasparyan, GevorgDabaghyan.
Has been making duduks for more than 15 years. After the perfectionand correction of the timbre, key and durability, duduks made by Karen Mukaelyan are among the most professional instruments on the market.
The duduk made by our masters is used by renowned dudukists: GeorgiMinasov, DjivanGasparyan, GevorgDabaghyan, YeghisheManukyan, Pedro Eustache. Our instrument meets all the requirements of the legendary musicians.
The duduk is only hand-made and made only by a special technology adheringto all the manufacturing secrets.
That is why we make a limited amount of duduks every month.
